A husband-wife partnership, Chuck Black and Lynn Elsasser opened Signs By Tomorrow - Fort Lauderdale in December 2003 after moving from Baltimore, Maryland.

Chuck Black served our country in the U. S. Navy for 20 years with distinction and honor. As an avid sailor, when he transitioned from the Navy, he worked as a yacht broker in Annapolis, Maryland for 10 years.

Chuck is an active member of the Fort Lauderdale community! He is very involved in the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce serving as a member of the Board of Directors and Past Chair for the Uptown Business Council. He is a graduate of Leadership Fort Lauderdale Class XIII. He is President of Fort Lauderdale Council of the U. S. Navy League and is a National Director. Chuck also serves as a Board of Directors member for the L. A. Lee Family YMCA and serves on the MLK Parade Committee.

He has a B. S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park. Chuck graduated from the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Washington, D. C. and has performed onstage as a professional clown, stilt-walker and fire-eater.

Lynn Elsasser has over 20 years of Marketing and Communications experience in both consumer and business-to-business marketing. She worked for several Fortune 500 companies, including General Mills, Marriott, Cendant, and Citibank.

Lynn has an MBA from Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA and a BA, cum laude in Economics from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA.

Lynn is a member of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
