Signs By Tomorrow Alexandria’s Arlington Library Project Receives Top National AwardBack
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (April 1, 2014) — Local business owner Dave Gimbel recently received the Signs By Tomorrow Project of the Year Award at the Alliance Franchise Brands Convention in Nashville, Tenn. They were recognized for their work on a visual communications project for the Fund for Education Excellence for the Arlington Library. The award is sponsored by national trade magazine Wide-Format Imaging and Alliance Franchise Brands.
As part of the project, the team at Signs By Tomorrow installed specialized wall paper on the ceiling, walls and bookcases of a special section of the library.
“It was quite a challenge to install the graphic to a curved ceiling that was 15 feet wide x 46 feet long. The overall effect of the graphics in the library was to create imagination and inspire the children. It was well worth the effort when I saw the look on the faces of the elementary school kids when they first saw their new library. They were awe struck!” Dave said.
“Dave has done some outstanding work throughout the years and consistently ranks among our top performers. He is a valuable asset to our network and other Signs By Tomorrow centers across the country,” remarked Alliance Franchise Brands President Ray Palmer.
