QR Codes

QR codes or "Quick Response" codes were created by Denso-Wave in 1994.  A QR code is a 2D code or "barcode" that holds up to 4,296 characters.  Originally, QR codes were used by the auto parts industry for tracking parts/inventory but today, QR codes are utilized by several different industries from manufacturing to real estate.
