File Formats

FILE FORMATS:

_______________________________________________________________

Adobe Illustrator (Vector Files) - .ai, .eps, or .pdf.  All text and strokes must be converted to outlines.

Adobe Photoshop (Raster Files) - .jpg, .tiff, .bmp.  If the file is smaller than final output size, then the file has to be created at a minimum of 300 DPI.  If the file is the same size as the final output size the file can be created at a minimum of 150 DPI

GUIDELINES FOR BASIC SIGNS (1-3 COLORS):

____________________________________________________________

You should save your file as an Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps file.  This is the most compatible type of artwork.

All text should be converted to outlines.  This will eliminate font issues. If you are unable to convert to outlines you must include the font with your font as a PC true type font.

GUIDELINES FOR FULL COLOR PRINTED SIGNS:

_____________________________________________________________

Files can be huge! A full 4-color fleet graphic on the side of a 48 foot trailer is well over 1 gigabyte. When setting up your file, use the following guidelines:

FLEET GRAPHICS:

72 DPI @ 100% actual size    OR    300 DPI @ 1/4 of the actual size

BANNERS, POP, ANYTHING VISABLE AT CLOSE RANGE(5ft or less):

150 DPI @ 100% actual size
